Not gunna take that away form him... but I think ever since he left USC has lost its edge on all other teams. USC is a program on the fall with Kiffin as the HC. Nebraska is a program on the rise. I would bet my life savings that Nebraska wins it's next National Championship before USC wins its next one.

If he's thinking football as a DE, he would be out of his mind to pass up working for a defensive guru like Pelini. They are just another college team, and one that just lost it's star coach at that. We are headed to the top and definitely in their league. Sure on paper, USC might seem more likely for this kid. But you never know what is in a kid's heart. At the end of the day, NU might feel to him like the best choice. So don't assume anything.
