Turnbury at Countryside 25350 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33763 remains one of the worst apartment complexes I have ever seen in my life.
The laundry rooms of
Turnbury at Countryside have smashed out windows and animals living in them.
It takes the maintenance team three tries to fix a leak, each time assuring you they absolutely got it this time, and then when they fail to fix it the third time, they try to bill you for the damages.
Stay away from their auto-withdrawal rent system, they repeatedly double-billed me "accidentally" and despite admitting they knew they had done so, and done so to multiple people, they did not notify any of us and if I had not come to them and complained repeatedly, they would not have fixed it.
Leases require 24hrs notice before management can let themselves into your unit for an inspection and I repeatedly caught them backdating posted notifications to bypass that.
The pet restrictions are a ban on dogs over 30lbs, and yet the complex is full of massive pitbulls and german shepards etc that are clearly over 30lbs.
And sure, they remodeled the office area real pretty...would have been nice if the rest of the complex had gotten that treatment.
Let's not forget how it's next door to the nightclub and the stripclub, too, that was fun to walk home past.
My favorite part was the time the sheriff deputies raided one of the people in the building every night for a week because their boyfriend was a wanted felon.
And then there was the guy who killed himself in the building across from me while I lived there.
